I love the idea of spice cookies: lots of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and because Im just that kind of girl: cardamom. I love how the molasses, when baking, fills the house with a warm chewy fragrance. What I dont love? Overcooking the cookies to the point where they are more like snaps (as in “ginger”) than anything else. Im not disappointed in how they turned out, Im just not thrilled either.

I love secret alleyways, even when they are so only for me. This lovely walkway was behind (in front of?) Hart House at U of T. I especially like the lamp post, which reminds me of the one in Narnia. I’d love to return here in winter and take another look.

After nearly six years of blogging, I’d gotten bored of blogging. Facebook was fulfilling my online social needs and marmalade was falling to the side.
