Last weekend was the 8th annual Toronto Circus Festival, and despite the unseasonably cold tempterature (8C!), Roben and I braved the chill to watch Zero Gravity Circus do their thing on the main stage at Harbourfront. This here fine specimen of mankind is Peter Long, the incredible flying man.

If you’ve been visiting this site for a while, Im sure this isnt the first time you’ve seen this photo. It’s of Melia, the daughter of my friends Matt and Tsuki, taken at our friend Rick’s 40th birthday party last October. Poor Dante. He spends his days cooped up in our apartment, dreaming of yesteryear when he was allowed to roam (somewhat) wild through the neighbourhood. When we lived on a quieter street, it was okay (although I worried about him quite a bit), but ever since moving away from that house he’s been an indoor cat, much to his eternal chagrin.
