It’s photos like these that make me really glad that Flickr stores your photo’s EXIF data; I have NO idea what I did to achieve this photo, but I think it’s the sharpest shot Ive ever taken.
On Saturday morning, when I should have been working *tsk*, Rick and I were chatting online about cameras and how to achieve the sharpest settings with the camera without a tripod. He told me to set my ISO really high, then fudge around with my aperature until the exposure was something hand-hold-able.

The lovely (and shy! Oh so shy) Pixy has come to stay with me this weekend while her people are on the Boreal canoe trip. Ive had a love affair with her breed for years now, so when Kew asked if I would puppy sit, I was all over it.

Another Canada Day/Strawberry Picking photograph. I think this lot belonged to my friend Galli, who has an outrageous amount of berries picked … two buckets I think! Im not sure, but I really hope she froze some or made jam out of them. I only bougt a quart worth, and even after giving half of them away had to throw out a lot.
