Wellington

A cable car named Welly. No, not really.

A cable car named Welly. No, not really.

I’ve been in Wellington for the last four days, scoping out the job situation mostly (and praying to god that I find something), but also to meet my future flatmates and make sure we all get on. So far so good. And while I havent got a job lined up, Ive a very good prospect that should land me six months of work. Hallelujah.

I head back up to Auckland tomorrow morning, and in the middle of a cyclone, no less. Im told it will just be super windy and rainy, nothing to worry about. But you know me, I fret over every last thing. I checked the bus website and while it doesnt say that it stops the journey in bad weather, it DID say that the bus stops every three hours, so Im sure the driver will assess the situation as we make our way north.

Will write more about my visit here later, when my battery isnt running low (both figuratively and literaly!)

Hi! Was searching for photos of my favourite walking tracks when I live in Ngaio: Khandallah Park onto Mt. Kau Kau. Saw a link to this page. Kia ora from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I had a chance to help set up and run a design agency in 1991 near Wellington (the Mac side was very new then and I’m a Mac-man).

Unfortunately, my girlfriend at the time didn’t fancy it so I refused the offer :0(

    What a mistake that was!
