More tiger loveliness, his colours really were spectacular. What you dont see in this photo, is that he is nomming the crap out of the black tetherball I mentioned the other day. I think I have a photo of him with it in RAW still, so will go back and see if I cant find it. Too cute for words.

I so miss my little felines. I loved watching this fellow, he had this big black ball that was tethered to the side of a wading pool. He would knock the ball into the water, then spend ages licking it like a giant gobstobber. Very playful, yet very dangerous. His keeper told me that the zoo staff NEVER went into his enclosure while was inside, that he never had human contact as they wanted him to remain as wild as possible. Inspired by these absolutely astounding photos, I went to the Auckland Zoo one day last week. While nowhere near in size to the one in Toronto, it was pretty lovely and I enjoyed my afternoon there.
